The upper back and shoulder girdle are innately connected; one cannot function in a healthy way without the other. This workshop will focus on the anatomy of the upper back and shoulders, how they are meant to fit together and move synergistically, and what you can do to improve the health of both. We will use the principles of Pilates and functional movement to bring awareness to your alignment as well as provide some simple exercises to do at home to relieve pain and restore function. This workshop is great for those who have pain, discomfort, or limited range of motion in the shoulder or upper back.
